Cracked ceiling advice needed

Hi there, Just wondering if anyone could give some advice on the ceiling cracks in the picture below. They're from a house I recently viewed and are all over the whole bedroom ceiling (under old loft conversation) I cant seen to find any advice on the internet about numerous cracks. Do these look worrying? I would have thought if they were structural they would be longer and wider. The loft conversation has some flooring down, could they have been caused by this? It also looks like there may have been a leak in the skylight window, could that have caused it?

Thanks in advance! Name: IMG_20161022_ ceiling.jpg

So you can't see this from above, right?

My best guess is the flooring system above is being asked to do more than it can handle.

I assume that's plaster ? Aside from the framing/load concerns I'd want to know how secure the ceiling is. If it's plaster than has come loose you may need to replace the entire ceiling. If tapping on the plaster gives a hollow sound - it's loose.
