How to remove massive mirrors
I have two massive mirrors i want to remove from the bathroom.
One mirror is about 6 feet tall and 5 feet wide. The other is 6' x 3' wide. It looks like they sit in a track on the bottom but there does not seems to be any clips holding them up top. I believe some type of adhesive was used to attach the mirrors to the wall.
There isn't enough room to shim them off from the top down.
Any ideas on how to detach?
If I have to demo the mirrors, any tips on doing it safely?

If they are glued to the wall which I would suspect without any type of top clips then your going to have to bust them up.
A heavy moving pad in front of the mirror to keep everything under contained gloves and goggles.

If there will be anything you are keeping below where parts of that mirror may fall, then some plywood would be needed, then the thick pad. If you use a moving pad, toss it when done to avoid passing along glass splinters.
What is on the other side of that wall? If you could access that space there might be other options.

It is sometimes possible to see-saw a thin wire from side to side behind the mirror to cut through the adhesive dabs. I've never tried it on a mirror that big though; seems like it would take two people.

Mirrors that large were probably installed by a professional and the proper adhesive was used and the mirrors should release. The mirrors should be held on with dots of adhesive, it doesn't take much to hold the mirror in place.
I would recommend 2 industrial suction cups and a helper. Gently pull the mirror from the wall using a putty knife or a small pry bar.
You will get a feel right away if the mirror will pull off or not. I've only had to break one large mirror in over 16 years.

It's hard to tell in that picture but there may not be an easy way to get behind the mirror with any type of knife. It looks like the mirrors may be trapped in by the walls.
