Hi, need some advice, I have been asked to redo a shower room on the ground floor, i assume the room used to be a old toilet as two of the external walls are single skin, 3rd is to this house with door way, 4th to the neighbour's ,and pretty much all the tanking has been removed, i have been asked to use cement boards instead of tanking by dot and dabbing. I was informed not to dot and dab but use 2 inch battening and then the cement boards but no mention of any vapour barriers or insulation> so my question is do i battening the walls use some kingspan between battens and then a vapour barrier then cement boards, or do another way all together. thanks for reading
