How to feed coax through part of wall
I need to run a coax cable for a cable box to this wall in the picture. If I run the cable from the attic through the wall in the back across the top of this structure… will I be able to drill on top and feed the cable directly down to my desired box location on this structures wall? Or will there be horizontal studs blocking my way?
Appreciate your help ahead of time.

I doubt there is any horizontal blocking. But there is going to be about 6 1/2" of partition framing if there is a wall at the back of that closet.

Welcome to the forums.
Wood going horizontally would be called blocking.
There shouldn't be any blocking in that wall.
You should have a clear shot once the top plate is drilled.

Is the cable feed already in the attic? Is this the first floor above a basement?
If the cable feed is into the basement, it might be easier to run the cable up into the closet and then directly through the wall to the TV. Less cutting, fishing and patching.
