Water heater issues

I have a older Reliant electric 40gal water heater an noticed a leak at inline pipe there where nipple meets heater. The water slowly puddles there after turning back on.. and water dripping at pressure release valve both at pipe an along side of heater when turned on.
.What will I need to look at besides replacing valve.? An any other things to look at?
Also oddly no water coming out the lower drain valve at pan when opened..
Any info is appreciated .

Is the leak between the water line and the nipple or the nipple and the tank ?
No way to fix the nipple to tank weld.

Your pressure relief valve is leaking at the threads AND it's pissing out the opening ?
There again.... is it the valve leaking at the nipple or the nipple to the tank ?

Nothing is coming out the drain valve because the crap on the inside has most likely clogged it up.

If this is an old water heater.... well over it's expected life..... then it might be time for a replacement.

The leaks are both at base of relief valve (first)an thru drain pipe on it,an then it leaks slowly at the water heater where nipple screws in at.Its like it slowly builds up at top an comes out where nipple enters.
