Which expansion tank for a hot water tank?

I need to replace a expansion tank for our hot water heater.

I found two different models .....

1. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Utilitech-5...e-Tank/1038593

2. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Utilitech-5...e-Tank/1038567

The second one has a five year warranty and a diaphragm, instead of a bladder. However it doesn't state whether or not it can be used with a hot water heater. Is there any reason I shouldn't use the second one?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I would go with the cheaper one. It looks like the only benefit to the more expensive one is their fancy new design for the bladder which they claim leads to longer life.

Either of those tanks may work, but it'll forever look like a DIY job and not like it was professionally installed. I'd use this one. Watts is a brand many professionals use and buy from supply houses.
