Amtrol smart controller died - Need help with wiring of new controller

Amtrol Boiler Mate WH-7L. The smart controller is dead, thus no domestic hot water. This needs a fixed asap.

I have the replacement smart controller, but have questions on the wiring hook up. For the existing controller, there are 3 attachments to it:
- (What I call) thermostat wire from a zone valve that controls only the water heater.
- The temperature sensor connector plugged into the underside of the back of the smart controller.
- A BX cable with 2 wires running through it (1 black, 1 white) that connect the Boiler Mate to the oil boiler.

There is no ground wire attached to the smart controller.

For the new smart controller, there is:
- A plug for the existing temperature sensor connector, and a (separate) new temperature sensor connector.
- 8 wires hanging out of the back of the smart controller: 1 black, 1 white, 2 purple, 2 orange, 2 blue.

The digital control wiring on the back of the instructions have 10 different wiring diagrams, dependent on my set-up. None of them seem to be of any use to me given only a black and white wire in the existing BX cable.

So if I am correct, I should:

1. KIS Reuse the existing temperature sensor connector with the new smart controller.
2. Detach the BX cable from the back of the existing controller, and connect the black (hot) and white (neutral) wires in it to the black and white wires on the new smart controller.

But,

1. What should be done with the 2 purple, 2 orange, and 2 blue wires?
2. Where should the thermostat wire that connects to the zone valve be connected inside the new smart controller?

Looking forward to a hot shower soon.

Much thanks!

From the digital control wiring:

- Power - black and white
- Burner - 2 orange wires
- Pump - 2 blue wires
- Priority - 2 violet (what I called purple) wires

See wiring dagrams

Finally found the Digital Control Wiring diagrams on line. Take a look at page 7. The one that seems applicable to me is at the bottom of the page under "Other Applications" - Multi-Zone Control, No Post Purge.

http://www.amtrol.com/wp-content/upl...LERMATE_IO.pdf

So

1. Do steps 1 and 2 in # 1 above (the KIS and black and white wires)

2. Attach the 2 blue wires to the 'thermostate' wire going to the zone valve.

But,

3. Is my solution for the zone valve connection correct?

4. What do I do with the 2 purple and 2 orange wires? Tie each color off together, or separately? Or?

Thanks, hoping someone can reply; in need of a hot shower.
