Way to retrofit b-vent or double wall for a tankless propane water heater?

I want to replace a water heater on my 3rd floor with a tankless.

The room is finished and the water heater is in a closet in the middle of the room. The vent goes through the roof and has a couple of elbows into the attic, which is inaccessible unless I cut out some of the supports and move some flex ducts for the HVAC. I want to avoid that.

Is there a way to convert or reuse the b-vent or double wall instead of the PVC?

This is the tankless I''m looking at.

Welcome to the forums.

I'm not the pro in this forum. Just looking thru the installation requirements.

They specify category III stainless steel vent pipe if using metal.
Type B and single wall metal flue lines do not meet this requirement.

Tankless water heaters are condensing (moisture in the vent) and will rot a regular steel vent. Tankless WH vents have to be stainless steel or PVC.
