Brink tank has excess water

I have an older Culligan water softener and there is too much water in the brine tank and I have salt water on my carpet and I cannot see where the water is coming from. I did a manual regen but it doesn't sound the same and the water only went down a couple inches.

It is either the venturi needs to be cleaned or the brine valve is allowing water into the brine tank when it is not suppose to. While the unit is in a service position, disconnect the brine line from the tank to see if water drips out. If it does, the brine valve is not holding and should be serviced or replaced.
