Kinetico Model 60 resin change

I dug up a few year old thread about Kinetico Model 60 water softeners resin specs. In the thread you had mentioned to use, "Standard 8% crosslink mesh resin is what is needed." I tried to add a comment but it wouldn't let me.

Is this correct and how many cubic ft. of resin for each tank? Or is the amount and type of resin subject to the actual hardness.

From the inspection: pH=7; Hardness=4 grains; Iron=2ppm; TDS=70ppm

The K60 uses standard mesh resin. It has .7 CF of resin in each tank. I have the Kinetico spec sheet and exploded view. If you a copy free ofcharge, simply email me at affordablewtr2006@gmail.com and I'll be more than happy to sent it to you.
