Reverse Osmosis system under sink
What are good systems and manufacturers of RO systems? Any opinion RO systems sold at Amazon and they charge $ 170 installation fees. Seems like a good buy.
https://www.amazon.com/APEC-5-Stage-...2%3A1248909011
I have old house. My current kitchen under sink look like this pic.
Is this worth changing the pipes to newer one like this https://www.homedepot.com/c/emergenc...pipes_HT_PG_BM
Does anyone knows how to rotate picture?

I don't install RO systems, only reconnect. $170 to install is a good deal. The installer will probably charge extra to change the valves but I would be all for it.
Any 5 stage system will give you quality water IMO. Be aware that about 4 to 12 times the amount of water filtered is going down the drain when using an RO system.
You might want to look at a company that installs and services RO systems, it's more expensive but you do nothing.
In your link the RO faucet alone is worth about $40 to $80.00

I've only installed one and it was pretty straight forward. Note that the Amazon price listed is for "Replacement" installation and may not apply to a new installation (I work for Amazon doing some installs during slow periods). You will also need an extra hole in your sink for your faucet and usually use the extra hole for the spray nozzle. May mean that you have to upgrade your faucet as well to a single handle pull down sprayer. And, yes, they gurgle constantly after you use them. So much so, that the one that I did install, I called the company and asked if that was normal. They answered yes, the gurgling is normal.

I had one installed and he installed it in the crawl space and ran a line to the sink , where he installed a faucet and a line to refrigerator. No longer need a filter and great water for ice and water on door. Mine was done by kinecto.
