I got lucky and Home Depot had a new (old) unit in storage. It had been a display model and a few pieces were missing including the computer. They were about to scrap it and they let me buy it for parts for $30.
I got the bypass assembly, as mine had a rubber o-ring preventing it from closing.
I replaced my piston even though I am not sure mine was broke. And all new rings.
I switched out the brine valve assembly.
I still have the same problem I had before. I do not get water flowing out of hose. My brine tank fills with water slowly overnight.
So I ordered a new injector kit. Now almost all parts that could be exchanged have been and I still have no water syphoning out.
What else could it be? What else should I look for?
Thanks in advance.Read More
I have changed out every part that can be changed out on a waterboss 900. I cannot get it to syphon brine tank.
Can high water pressure force water around rubber o-rings?
I ran twice with no water leaving the brine tank, but the 3rd time, it filled the brine tank with water again.
I see the piston end cap moving in and out, but when I disconnected the brine line, there was no suction, but water coming through the line.
I don't what more I can do. I think the issue is, the lack of sealing off water flow, when in brining mode. Not sure how the vacuum is created.Read More
