Use Battery Charger with Watchdog Backup Pump

I have a Watchdog Emergency Backup System, which some of you know does not charge the battery 100%!

My primary pump failed, the Watchdog was able to cycle 2 times before the battery died.

I attached a Noco G3500 Battery charger, and was able to replace the primary pump over the next 30 minutes without issue. The Noco actually charged the battery while cycling the pump another 2 times.

Question:
Can I leave the Noco G3500 attached to the Battery all the time?
I'd have the Watchdog charger and Noco both attached.

The Noco goes to a maintenance mode after the battery reaches 100%.

thanks

Mark

The watchdog charger is a slow trickle charger. Since you were able to run the pump with the second charger connected it sounds to me like the battery is not taking a full charge any more.

I would not leave the second charger connected to the watchdog without disabling its internal charging circuit.

It's a multi function circuit board so I'm not sure how to disable internal charging.
