Well pipe through wall
I am moving my well pump and water tank inside a Mueller steel building and I was wondering if there was a better way to run the two 1" PVC pipes through the metal wall besides just drilling a hole for the pvc and siliconing around the hole. Was wondering if maybe a uniseal for a fish tank or something else was made that would be a better method of weather/water sealing around the two pipes so I don't have to worry about water leaking into the building when it rains. Thanks

cajun I googled as joe said and found these. I guess these would work. I looked at my plumbing code book and could not find any requirements for pipes passing through a wall other than using a sleeve if the pipe passes through a masonry wall. So I guess you would be pretty much free to do whatever you want to do.

Here’s a youtube video of a guy installing one on a drum. Seems to me a wall would be easier.

Not exactly on topic but I would use a sleeve or some form of padding going through a sheet metal wall too, so vibration, say from trucks rumbling down the street, doesn't cut through the pipe.
