There is no point starting any project unless you are able to complete it without spreading yourself too thinly. Calculating the exact cost is actually much easier than you might think.

To get accurate estimates you will first need to get accurate prices for the amteriasl. Also don't forget to factor in your time as this is one fo the most valuable things that we all have.

#### Step 1 - Getting Prices

The first thing that you will need to do is get accurate prices for the aluminum siding. Get a few different quotes to make sure that you're getting the right prices. Find out the price per meter so that you can find out how much you need to pay to complete the entire project.

#### Step 2 - Measuring Your House

You will now need to measure the outside of your house. Use your tape measure to measure the width and height of all your walls. This is very easy but needs to be done as accurately as possible.

#### Step 3 - Calculating How Much Siding Required

Now you will need to estimate the number of lengths which are required to cover your whole house in the aluminum siding. This is actually very easy to do. Start by working out how large an area the aluminum siding panels will cover and then calculate how many panels that you will need.

#### Step 4 - Calculating the Cost

Now you know the number of siding panels that you need you will then need to work out the cost. This is very simple, you simply need to multiply the number of panels by the price of the panel. You might sometimes only be able to purchase these panels in packs of multiple panels. This could mean that you will need to purchase extra panels to the ones you actually need.

#### Step 5 - Accessories

If you want to go the whole hog then you will need to allow some extra money for nails, insulation and adhesive. Also include any other accessories which you will need to complete the job.

#### Step 6 - Tools

If you need any extra tools which you don't already have then you might want to also include these in your budget. However bear in mind that you might be able to use these tools again for other projects which might not make them as expensive. If you don't have a table saw for example then this would be a major expense, however it will be very useful for all sorts of other projects.

#### Step 7 - Placing Your Order

Once you have estimated the cost you will know how many panels you need to order. Place your order so that you can get your project off on the right foot. If you leave it too long before placing your order then you could discover that the prices will increase.
