Ceramic heaters are more efficient than electric resistance heaters, as they can produce as much or more heat at far less cost. Compared to electric heaters, they are also safer to use and have comparatively lower chances of burning due to exposure. They can also be left unattended. A ceramic heater is basically an electric coil heater with ceramic plates at the end of the coils. The heat generated by the coils when an electric current passes through them is readily absorbed by the plates and distributed out instantly. Ceramic has an easy conducting nature. The ceramic heater's plates do not get hot enough to burn up, yet they transfer heat consistently and readily.
