Are you opposed to using caustic drain cleaners unclog your clogged drain? If so, you will find that there are natural products that are less expensive, that are better for the environment, and that won’t be offensive in the way they smell. The following natural solution, using baking soda as a key ingredient, really will work. Just follow the 3 steps below.
1 – Baking Soda by Itself
If your clog isn’t severe, place one cup of baking soda in the drain, then pour 2 cups of boiling water in the drain. This will release a simple clog.
2 – Baking Soda and Vinegar
Pour 1 cup of baking soda in your drain, then add 1 cup of vinegar. Allow the soda and vinegar to work for a little while, a mixture that will create a fizzy paste. After this mixture has worked for awhile, pour boiling water down the drain.
3 – Baking Soda and Salt
Pour 1 cup of baking soda to your drain, then add 1 cup of regular table salt. Allow the baking soda-salt mixture to sit for several hours, preferably over night. Once it has remained in your drain for the required time, pour two cups of boiling water in the drain.
