A glass cabinet door is a great way to add some style to your kitchen. They can be either bought with the glass in them already, or you can add the glass to the door yourself. Either way, you will see a dramatic difference in your kitchen. One of the biggest questions surrounding this is should you use clear or frosted glass cabinet doors?

Clear Glass Cabinet Doors

A cabinet door that has clear glass on it adds some great benefits, as well as some disadvantages. Clear glass will allow you to see inside your cabinets and locate dishes, glasses, and other items easily. They are also great for showing off your china and fancy glasses. On the flip side, there is also the disadvantage of people being able to see inside your cabinets. The need for keeping them clean and organized is very important if you are having clear glass doors. These doors will also show smears, fingerprints, and other dirt very easily.

Frosted Glass Cabinet Doors

Frosted glass doors can add a dramatic look to your cabinets. This is especially true if the cabinets are a light color. They can have several different design aspects to them from your initials to a landscape mural. While you can see into the cabinets, for the most part the frosting is opaque. Cleaning is easy, and you will not have to do it as much as clear glass.
