Do Rubber Pavers Fade?
Even when used in high-traffic areas such as driveways, rubber pavers tend to hold their color because the color is part of the paver itself. Although the pavers may pick up stains from car engines or from poorly executed turns in the driveway or someone getting a little exuberant with braking, the surface is easy to clean with a mild detergent and cloth. Concrete pavers take their tone from the mix of the concrete and do tend to lighten over time due to exposure to sunlight, while painted patios fade over time, as well. Rubber pavers are excellent for use in high-chemical environments such as pool decks where they also aid safety.
