Bathroom wall paneling that has been installed with construction adhesive or liquid nail can be subject to glue overruns. To prevent the glue from oozing at the seams of the paneling, limit the amount you use and how close to the edges you apply it. If excess glue is still wet, remove it with a rag and mineral spirits. Dried paneling glue can pose a bit of a problem. Scrape it with a razor blade or putty knife, but be very careful to not damage the paneling. Stubborn glue can be heated with the highest setting on a hairdryer, then wiped off with mineral spirits. Don't use a high-temperature heat gun. It can damage or burn the paneling.
