A water ionizer is a tool that helps to make water healthier for consumption. It goes as far as to say that it can even help prevent diseases and slow the aging process. The process is broken down into two parts:
Step 1 - Filtering
Tap water contains many harmful chemicals and waste that need to be removed to allow for best consumption. Using a silver-activated charcoal to keep bacterial and particulate matter under control, a water ionizer filters the incoming water to remove many harmful additives, such as organic and inorganic chemicals, pesticides, lead, bacteria, and pollen.
However, unlike distillers or reverse osmosis devices, a water ionizer does not take out soluble minerals. These minerals are healthy minerals that are left in to help keep us as healthy and well-functioning as possible.
Step 2 - Ionizing
After the water has been filtered, it enters an ionization chamber. This is where a low voltage electric current is sent through it, which causes it to separate into two different components: alkaline water, which is what we drink, and acid water, which is what is used for external purposes.
The alkaline water maintains all of the healthy minerals that we need and even becomes OH-. This means that it has a powerful antioxidant effect at an atomic level. It also groups together in smaller numbers on a molecular level, which can make water seem even lighter than normal.
