How should I patch a crack in my epoxy coated garage floor?
Cracks in an epoxy coated garage floor can be repaired by using the repair process below:
Clean the Crack - Loose debris or aggregates must be removed from the crack. A vacuum cleaner works well for this.
Inject Resin - The crack should now be moistened by injecting resin into it.
Fill with Sand – Into the crack you will need to force silica sand.
Apply More Resin – The crack can now be filled to the surface with more repair resin.
Remove Excess Resin – Using a putty knife, you should scrape away excess resin.
Smooth Excess Resin – To finish, use a hand grinder to smooth the resin.
