Keeping your ceiling diffuser clean will limit the amount of airborne allergens and dirt floating through the air. All it takes is a simple cleaning solution and some elbow grease.
Preparing the Solution
Create a mixture of 1 part household cleaner to 2 parts hot water. You can use any cleaner that has a antibacterial formula. This solution is gentle enough to be used on any type of material from metal to plastic without causing damage.
Cleaning the Diffuser
When you clean the diffuser, remove all the dirt from the blades using a large sponge. Just soak the sponge into the cleaning solution and wedge the edge of it in between the blades. Run the sponge along the length of each blade. When you’re finished, remove any excess cleaning solution with a rag. This will prevent drips.
