How to Clean RV Cabinets

Cleaning your RV cabinets may not sound fun , but it will increase your traveling experience in your recreation vehicle. Dust and debris will accumulate in your cabinets over time. Follow the simple steps below to clean them without hassle.

Step 1 - Wipe with Soap and Dry

Clean with soap and wipe dry your cabinets in order to remove dust and prevent mold and mildew from forming inside them. Growth of microorganisms is especially quick in places that are not well-ventilated. Also, if your RV doors and windows are frequently left open, bugs and other pests will inevitably find their way inside.

It is best to use a sponge in soaping the cabinets. Add a capful of bleach or any antibacterial cleaner in your soapy solution. This solution works well in removing stubborn stains in your cabinets and very effective in eliminating microorganisms, too. Then wipe dry the cabinets with a dry cloth.

Step 2 - Tackle Hard-to-Reach Areas

For hard-to-reach areas in between cabinets and boards, you can use a paintbrush to wipe away cobwebs and whatnots that have been accumulating. If the shelf is quite high, you can always use a swiffer duster to trap and lock the dirt.
