Decorative glass glue comes in several types. Some dry clear. Others are waterproof. This article briefly describes how you can choose the right glue and use it with decorative glass.
Choosing the Right Glue
Consider the project you are working on. You need the right glue for your purpose. Will the glue be visible? Does it matter how it looks when it dries? Do you need a waterproof glue for your decorative glass project?
Also think about how the glue will age. Many glues dry clear but yellow as they age. If clear glue is important to you, choose a UV clear-drying glue. Sunlight will not affect this type of glue.
Using the Glue
Place the glue on both pieces of decorative glass and hold them together. Use a cloth to wipe away any excess glue. Keep the pieces of decorative glass firmly pressed together.
UV glue requires sunlight to cure and harden. If you're using this type of glue, go outside to fix the decorative glass together as quickly as possible.
