  • Follow the instruction manual for the procedures carefully
  • Seek expert advice for bracket mounting if needed
  • Use protective gear such as eye goggles and hand gloves
  • Exercise extreme caution through all phases to avoid any sudden movement

Step 1: Placing the Cover Lift

The closed lift cover has to be positioned carefully on the hot tub. The controlling panel should have the seam of the cover facing it. The cover flap should be arranged flush with the periphery of the cabinet.

Step 2: Placing the Extensible Arm

Place the extension arm horizontally and slacken the lock knob.

Step 3: Undoing the Adjustable Arm

Remove the nuts and screws from the adjustable arm. This can be done using the Phillips head screwdriver.

Step 4: Aligning the Extensible Arm

Next, the extensible arm must be moved to place amidst the flaps of the fold near the seam.

Step 5: Redoing the Adjustable Arm

The fifth step is to align the hole of the adjustable arm and then put the nut and the screw back in and tighten them with the wrench.

Step 6: Aligning the Folded Cover

Take a half inch portion of the cover and flick it over on its side such that it now lies over the remaining faction of the tub.

Step 7: Putting the Handle Bar into the Molded Saddle

The handle bars (any one) need to be grasped and pushed into the molded saddle at the top which can be found on one extremity of the extensible bar.

Step 8: Fixing the Handle Bar

The handle bar must be affixed to the extensible bar. This can be done using a nylock nut and a 2 ½ inch bolt. The nylock nut has to be tightened in such a way that at least one thread from the bolt is wound around the nut.

Step 9: Joining the Torsion Bar with the Handle Bar

The handle bar has a square shaped end into which the torsion bar must be placed. The part of the torsion bar that is left open should be pushed into the part of the handle bar that is free. Remember to put in proportionate fractions of the torsion bar in both the handle bars.

Step 10: Finishing Touches

The last step is to tighten the other handle bar and attach it safely to the saddle of the other extensible arm. This is done using a 2 1/2" bolt and nylock nut.
