Applying the Mixture

Make a mixture of one tablespoon of salt and half a cup of white vinegar. Put the mix on the antique door handles with a scrubbing pad and carefully apply it going in circles. Depending on the age of the brass it may be more tarnished and need several applications.

Removing the Mixture

Take a cloth and wipe off the mixture from the antique door handles. If there is a lot of tarnish left apply the mixture with the scrubbing pad again. Repeat the process until the antique door handles are clean and shine as much as you would like them to shine.
