A car canopy is an inexpensive means of protecting and storing your vehicle. By using an anti-fade and anti-fungal fabric your canopy will require less effort to maintain.

Step 1 – Separating the Canopy Parts

Place all of the materials for your car canopy in separate groups. Divide the materials into the top tubes, the leg tubes, the fittings and the canopy.

Step 2 – Assembling the Top and Legs of the Frame

Connect the top tubing parts in position, using the fittings to secure them together. Also connect the leg tubing parts with the fittings. Do not connect the top to the legs, until after the fabric has been attached.

Step 3 – Positioning the Canopy Fabric

Position the fabric cover for the canopy over the frame. Use the bungee cords to secure the fabric to the tubing.

Step 4 – Connecting the Top and Legs of the Frame

Connect the legs of the frame to 1 side of the top. Use the fittings to secure the parts together. Connect the legs of the frame to the other side of the canopy top, and secure them with fittings as well.

Step 5 – Securing the Canopy in Place

Use the bungee cords to secure the canopy fabric to the ground. Position the stakes in the ground and connect the cords to the stakes.
