The mobile Internet is a great invention; however, you don't just have to use the internet on your tiny smartphone screen. Surfing the Internet on a smartphone can be difficult because of the small text. Fortunately you can connect the smartphone to your computer.

Connecting to a Computer

Many mobile phones can be used as modems for laptop computers. You will connect your smartphone to your computer either with a USB cable or through Bluetooth.

Connecting to the Internet

Once you have connected the smartphone to your computer, you will set up the modem connection. If you have a 3G phone, you can set up the connection quicker than with dial-up Internet connections.

Using a smartphone to connect to the internet is an easy way of connecting to the Internet wherever you go. You do, however, need to make sure that your cell phone plan provides sufficient limits of minutes and/or data use.
