Kitchen cabinet molding can be a great way to add a touch of class and elegance to your décor. Scribe molding is a type of molding that is placed at the end of cabinets where they meet the wall. The cabinets will have a more finished look, and any uneven walls will be hidden.
Step 1 - Particle Board
The particle board will need to be fitted to go along the cabinets where your scribe molding will go. You will need this to be your nailing strip so that you will be able to have the nails go into the finished part of your cabinets.
Step 2 - Measure
It is important that you measure the area carefully. Double and even triple check your numbers so that you will not have any issues when installing your scribe molding.
Step 3 - Cut
As long as your cabinets are not custom made, you will be able to cut your scribe molding at 45 degree angles at the corners.
Step 4 - Connect
Once the scribe molding is measured and cut properly, use your finishing nails to nail it to the particle board. Fill in the nail holes with wood filler.
