ENERGY STAR® Awards
The voluntary market-based partnership ENERGY STAR® has recently declared their award winners for companies and products that lead the way in energy efficiency.
Lowes earned its fourth consecutive Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award and remains the only retailer to earn multiple Sustained Excellence Awards since the awards creation. Some of the key achievements leading to Lowe’s stellar record include increasing the presence of ENERGY Star products in their stores, as well as working with local and state utility companies to promote energy conservation.
Panasonic ECO Solutions Division has won an award for Sustained Excellence for their industry leading and energy efficient ventilation fans with up to 23.3 CFM/Watt. “Panasonic leads the field with their commitment to energy efficiency and demonstrates how all Americans can save energy, save money, and create a healthier environment,” said Bob Perciasepe, Acting Administrator, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
LG Electronics is also recognized for “Protecting Environment through Manufacturing Efficient Products” by the EPA for its second consecutive year with a Partner of the Year award.
