Water and Dishwashing Liquid

One of the most simple and effective ways to clean your Brazilian cherry hardwood is with water and dishwashing liquid. With this technique, you are going to want to add a few drops of dishwashing liquid to a bucket of warm water. You can then get some of the mixture on a mop and apply it to the floor. Make sure that you wring out the mop well so that it is only damp. After you are done mopping the floor, make sure that you clean it with pure water. At that point, go through with a towel and remove all of the excess water. Never leave any water sitting on top of the Brazilian cherry hardwood flooring. Water and wood do not mix, so make sure that the wood flooring is always extremely dry.

Commercial Cleaners

You might also want to try some of the many commercial hardwood flooring cleaning products that are available in the marketplace. These products are specially designed to be used on hardwood flooring. Many times, they will come in a spray bottle. With this type of commercial cleaner, you are simply going to spray it onto the floor and then wipe it up with a rag or a mop. Other commercial cleaners come in a large bucket and you will most likely need to mix them with water before mopping. When it comes to this type of cleaner, use the same rules as you do with water. Do not ever leave liquid sitting on top of the hardwood floor as it could potentially damage it.
