Polishing your car dashboard helps to give the interior a clean and finished look. You don't need much to work with, but there some tools that make the job easier. Use these tips the next time you need to make your dashboard shine:

1. Use a Micro Fiber Cloth

Don't use paper towels because they can leave a messy residue. A micro fiber cloth works best for polishing the car dashboard, with or without sprays or polishes. You won't have to worry about leaving behind a residue which will shorten the time you spend cleaning.

2. Buy Plastic Polish

There's a difference between polishing and making the car dashboard shine, and just removing dirt and stains. If you want a shiny finish, then use plastic polish. You can also buy car dashboard polish, but they both will do the same thing. Use the micro fiber cloth or a small paint brush to put the polish on.

3. Try Q-Tips

Before you polish, you'll need to remove dirt. That includes dirt that has fallen into the crevices. Use a q-tip to get the dirt out before you polish.

If you maintain the car dashboard in between cleaning, you won't have much work to do when it comes to polishing it. You can dust it periodically to remove dust and dirt.
