Toilet Bidet Conversion Kits

The toilet bidet is making advances in popularity in the U.S. While bidets have long been well-liked in Europe and the Middle East, they're getting bigger in the rest of the world now. However, many bathrooms here don't have room for both the toilet and bidet, so some manufacturers sell bidet conversion kits for people to do it themselves. We'll take a look at how to use the easy conversion kits.

Step 1 - Shut Off Water

Turn off the water supply to the toilet via the valve beneath it. Then flush it to remove more than half of the water sitting in the tank. Open the tank up and put in some old towels to soak up the rest.

Step 2 - Remove Toilet Seat

Using the screwdriver, remove the toilet seat. Set it in a safe place and keep it dry.

Step 3 - Attach the Spray

Attach the spray to the back of the toilet seat and have it facing up. Follow any specific instructions that the manufacturer issued with the kit.

Step 4 - Connect the Two-Way Valve

Connect the two-way bidet valve to the toilet valve and use tape to seal it. Then connect the other part of the bidet valve to the tank and spray. Reattach the toilet seat.

Step 5 - Turn Water Supply Back On

Turn the water supply back on and test the bidet. If it works, then you are finished. If not, review the instructions and see what needs to be fixed.
