Kitchen cabinet molding is the finishing touch to the installation or upgrade of kitchen cabinets. It comes in many different styles and can suit many tastes. It is available in all the same wood grains as the cabinets.
The most common molding options for kitchens are crown molding and scribe molding. Crown molding is installed between the top of the upper cabinet and the ceiling.
Scribe molding is installed between the sides of the cabinets and the wall.
Other common moldings are bun feet on lower cabinets, appliques—which are cutouts that are applied to the doors and sides of the cabinets, and flat molding, which is used in various locations and gives a very modern look to a kitchen.
