What is the best way to insulate interior brick walls?
Interior brick walls may be a challenge to insulate, especially if there is little or no space between the wall panel and the foundation wall. However, there are ways to do this.
Foundation Walls
If your interior wall is finished with drywall attached to furring strips that separate drywall from a foundation wall, you can drill holes through your drywall and insert foam insulation between the furring strips.
Non-Foundation Walls
For unfinished interior walls not attached to concrete foundation walls, attach rigid insulation onto the wall surface before drywalling. In walls already finished, but not attached to foundation walls, use foam insulation.
