When temperatures decrease, everyone thinks about insulating their home, however, spray foam insulation kits do not work well in cold climates because the foam peels away from the surface. With a few modifications you can use any insulation kit in cold weather: try heating the area you want to insulate before applying the spray foam, as this will prevent the foam from peeling. Techniques for heating the area include using a bullet heater or space heaters. It is equally important to keep the kits warm. In order to do this, store them indoors, and shake regularly to increase their temperature to a point that they are suitable for use.
