Which wood floor is better: oak or teak floors?

Oak and teak floors are both acceptable hardwoods for flooring, and are very durable. Oak is much more cost effective than teak. It is much less expensive due to the fact that it is manufactured in the United States, as compared to most teak, which is brought in from overseas. Teak, on the other hand, is a beautiful hardwood that has natural oils that repel insects and mold and rot, which may save you money in the long run. Both are good woods for flooring, but it will depend on your personal taste and what you expect from your wood flooring as far as maintenance.
